Staghorn's Hall of Fame II

Simon was recently re-homed & is now the light of the lives of John, Debbie & Lindsay in the Kingston area. After owning/loving a black male for many years, and sadly having to send him to the Rainbow Bridge, they contacted Staghorn & wanted a young adult yellow male to join their family. They are very pleased with him. He has fit in well & with a little love & commitment from his new family, has become a wonderful family pet. We at Staghorn are very pleased for Simon. Simon's parents are Elgin's Staghorn Hey Macarena X Ch. Borador's Exch at Devonsleigh. Simon's dad was the Number 1 Lab in Canada, 2002.

Emma is a very pretty black grandaughter of Mac's, who is very much loved and spoiled by Carolee and family, in Peterborough. Emma's parents are Ch. Lindenhall Legacy at Staghorn X Ch. Mollyreach Pretty Boy Floyd.

Though this little girl, Brandy, is not a Staghorn puppy, she is a daughter of Mac's, born to Lindenhall Reg'd Labradors. (Our very good friends) Her owner, Mike, kindly sends me pictures & updates on her. He is very pleased with her. Her parents are Lindenhall's Lizbeth X Ch. Lindenhall's McIlwain Protege

	Ch. Staghorn's Socrates
Socrates is another boy we are very proud of here at Staghorn. The people he owns, (Lee Anne and Ian) moved to Calgary, summer/03 and will be married July 3, '04 and have invited us to attend their wedding to see Socs and his son Faolin carry the rings up the aisle. When Socrates lived in Kingston he was exercised daily with his litter-sister Abby, who was a neighbour, and both dogs were well known in Kingston and loved by all. I often get calls from people who met Socs and Abby in the parks or at playgroups for dogs. Socrates is an excellent ambassador for Staghorn, his loveable temperament and good looks impress many people. The picture of him in the jester's hat is a perfect illustration of his joking and comical personality. We love you Socs. Socrates attained his Canadian Championship easily. He has also fathered a lovely litter of chocolate and yellow Staghorn puppies, pictures of him and his son Faolin are below. lAs you can see, Socs and his little son are very good friends. Little Faolin has a VERY special place in our hearts. This little lad lived through the worst imagineable case of parvo-virus. He was such a sick little boy, I was so afraid he wouldn't make it. But his sweet little disposition and his will to live carried him through and after much love and care from both our vets and LeeAnne and Ians good friends in Kingston, he pulled through. I will never be so happy relieved as I was the day I took this little boy to Toronto to fly off to his family in Calgary. Faolin is growing up to be a very smart boy, who is working on his obedience title training. He will always be an amazement and a very special boy to me. Faolin's parents are Ch. Staghorn's Socrates X Moosecreek's Staghorn Stella.

	Abby (litter sister and much missed best friend to Socs, above) is one very lively girl! She parades her way around Kingston like she owns the city! When Socs & Abby were celebrating their 1st birth - day, I attended the party held for them by another doggy friend in the city. I brought their mother, Coco & new baby half brother LeRoy along to play. It was a BALL! Coco & Abby were very much alike, in different colours. They played hard all day. Abby was almost as brown as Coco by the party's end. Abby lives with Eric & family, close to parks & the lake. (Much to Abby's delight!)

	Cruz is a very happy Mac Grandson, who lives with Leigh Ann, Steve & Josh. Cruz's favourite game is hockey, where he plays defense for his boy, Josh who is in goal, while dad, Steve, tries to score against them. (Or there's always laying on the couch with mom watching late night movies & licking her feet!) Cruz's parents are Ch. Lindenhall Legacy at Staghorn X Ch. Mollyreach Pretty Boy Floyd.
